- A teacher for nearly 20 years, I hardly go a day without finding something that slaps me upside the head and reminds me that I an educator. I love being in the classroom, find my students endlessly fascinating, believe the words we read inspire the words we write, and - most of all - I have lots of great old stories to share and plenty of contemporary conundrums to fret over. Whether you are a teacher, a student - or the parent or a friend of a teacher or student - you will likely know what I'm talking about.
